Spring art & fashion at La Roca Village
Running until May 31st La Roca Village will be hosting an event inspired by art and fashion in Barcelona (during March and April in Madrid) thanks to two initiatives that showcase the interest in both centres have in the creation of shopping experiences focused on talent, creativity and innovation through the Barcelona Designers Collective.
True to its aims of promoting a continuing dialogue between fashion and other creative disciplines it also makes a valuable contribution to helping make Barcelona a national and international centre of excellence for emerging talent, the Barcelona Designers Collective by La Roca Village sponsors two installations on both of the Villages located in Spain.

La Roca Village hosts the first exhibition ever put together in Spain dedicated to the "regenerative" Cracking Art collective. 40 large-format multicoloured sculptures of animals featurng snails, rabbits, swallows and frogs will be taking over the Village to the delight its visitors. Cracking Art, founded in Italy in 1993 aims to radically change the future of art, with its strong environmental and social commitment, that uses a revolutionary approach to plastic, a material chosen for its malleable properties that can be melted and reused again and again, a medium to investigate the close relationship between nature and artificial reality. It has already carried out more than 400 artistic invasions around the world (Bangkok, Moscow, Sydney, Shanghai, Tel Aviv, New York, Paris, Brussels or Milan, among other cities).
Under the frame of the campaign Art meets Fashion Las Rozas Village also includes an installation by the artist Ernesto Artillo inspired by the values and imaginary of some of the most iconic brand names with shops at the Village that will be exhibited in their display windows. These coexist with a small preview of The Fashion Route of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, which shows reproductions of some of the works of its permanent collection that illustrate the evolution of fashion through history.
