An exhibition that examines a specific historical period in Spain (the 1970s and 80s) when photography took on a new direction that reflected a more personal and subjective vision influenced by what was going on beyond its national borders and augurs the transition from dictatorship to democracy. A selection of 85 works featuring a total of seven Spanish and Argentinean photographers; Vari Caramés, Toni Catany, Gabriel Cualladó, Ferran Freixa, Alberto García-Alix, Paco Gómez and Humberto Rivas.

The Fundació Foto Colectania is a private non-profit organisation founded in Barcelona in 2002, aiming at promoting photography as an art form  through exhibitions and other activities. With its own photography collection comprising of more than 2.500 works of Spanish and Portuguese authors from 1950 onwards. Exhibitions are open to the general public.
