Barcelona Gallery Weekend
A collection of gallery proposals
A total of 23 galleries in Barcelona and L'Hospitalet de Llobregat will participate in the third edition of the Barcelona Gallery Weekend, which takes place from September 28th till October 1st this year. The Art Barcelona initiative is an annual reference for professionals, art lovers, collectors and artists. The BGW aims to promote art collecting and to value the work of galleries as spaces that generate culture that are open to the general public.
Over four days Barcelona will become the hub of national and international contemporary art, hosting painting, sculpture and installations from some of the leading art figures, as well as historical avant-gardes, in collective exhibitions of some of the most important artists of the early 20th Century.
