Artemesa is a Spanish brand of crafted objects producing handmade ceramics that provides customers with a highly unique piece of design as well as the option of being a participant in the process of designing and making individual pieces. The founder of the brand Clara Granados, originally from Madrid, deals with customers on a one-to-one basis; a very personal approach that is made to measure.
The Arteabstract collection is inspired by mostly abstract works by Spanish painters bringing a more figurative art in her case to tableware and everyday objects that also evokes the natural world, the signature hallmark of the firm. Clara explains the intention behind this collection is “to merge two artistic expressions as important as painting and ceramics so that the viewer can enjoy both at the same time.”
Clara is an artist originally from the worlds of mathematics who discovered ceramics as a new way of expressing herself and capturing the world in a way, apparently, very far from the metrics and predictive models that nevertheless do present common aspects beyond what is “ visible".
