Eva, who was fascinated by their strength, courage, respect for nature and their ability to work as a team in the toughest conditions, has illustrated the book Mom is a Haenyeo, collaborated with Hee-young Koo in the promotion of the documentary Breathing Underwater and supported the candidacy of the Haenyeo as intangible heritage of humanity that Unesco granted them last November.
