Tactile and visually impacting this new range of stationery and other related products is designed by Barcelona based designer Marcel Baer who found the inspiration for the collection in the Super 8 footage that documents the travels of his father around the Mediterranean during the 60s and 70s. Born in Switzerland but having spent childhood summers with his Spanish grandmother in the south of Spain Baer has infused the collection with the spirit of the sea featuring top quality paper and creative input from local manufacturers and crafts people. Marcel Baer is an Art Director and Graphic Designer, with Octaevo the excitement of letter writing and the possibilities of a blank piece of paper are rediscovered and framed by an evocative universe of colour and allusion.
