The watch manufacturer joins forces with Tous.
Rolex and Tous have consolidated their close collaboration that they first embarked upon more than 30 years ago by opening a new Rolex space, the first in Europe accommodated within the famous 1934 building designed by Josep Lluís Sert located on Passeig de Gràcia at the intersection of Gran Vía.

The Rolex boutique involved the comprehensive restoration of the entire façade, a listed building and noteworthy example of the Rationalist style of architecture in Barcelona. While the interior design has preserved the values, the spirit, the perception of space and the light that Sert originally imagined, reinterpreting its materials, form and proportions. Everything was detailed meticulously, from the colours used to the Crema Mar l marble, sourced from the Spanish El Coto and Zafra mountain ranges, the stucco paintings representing emblematic locations of the Ciudad Condal and the walnut wood used throughout.

The shop contains the entire range of Rolex products and other information about the renowned brand. The World of Rolex brings customers on a guided tour of the principles that have shaped the Swiss company since its founding at the beginning of the 20th Century. Through images and information panels visitors can immerse themselves in The Rolex Way, its unique and exceptional working methods that have led to the creation of a legend making Rolex renowned the world over for its excellence and meticulous attention to detail, researching materials, the testing of its watches taken on journeys around the planet, while subjecting them to extreme temperatures and conditions ... the very essence of the brand.

And given that for Rolex the flawless workings of its watches are a fundamental part of its success then a large section of the shop has been given over to the post-sales service that includes a waiting area, bar counter and a open plan repair workshop where the public can observe the repairs.
