The Danish illustrator and graphic designer Emil Kozak created five exclusive posters for Nordicthink in order to celebrate the showroom’s fifth anniversary recently. Kozak describes his style as a mix between two cultures: I produce Danish design made in Barcelona. The Nordicthink showroom is defined by its unique combination of Scandinavian design and Mediterranean sensibility. Stocking everything from decorative objects, to tableware, lighting, accessories, kids’ products and designer furniture. Brands include Normann Copenhagen, Hay, Ferm Living, Gubi and many more renowned brands.
Having been founded in 2011 during the height of the recession Nordicthink has consolidated its offering over these last five years. A very personal project founded by Jordi Martín who is passionate about all things related to design from Northern Europe, not strictly in the geographic sense but in terms of craftsmanship and quality raw materials and younger new designers who are applying these principles but also incorporating modern day technologies.
