Created by Welsh industrial designer Ross Lovegrove for the renowned Italian lighting manufacturer, New Nature is part of an ongoing collaboration that has produced some innovative light fittings over recent years. The column shaped standing lamp is a complex structure inspired by fluid botanic geometries which harness and project light. The base of the lamp is made using chrome plated steel while the column is made from thermo plastic material. The LED light sources are located at the top and bottom of the fitting casting intersecting light and shadow patterns.
