Living al fresco

By Silvia Micolau 24.07.24

Whatever your outdoor oasis -an urban balcony or patio, beachside apartment deck or cottage garden-, summer is a wonderful opportunity to revitalize it with these new additions to outdoor furniture and lighting.

  • Jugo Outdoor by Numen / For Use

    Prostoria

The name of this collection, which evokes the need for hedonism and the laid-back Mediterranean spirit, comes from jugo, Croatian wind from the southeast, also known as 'fjaka', which literally translates as "doing nothing".

On the sofas, armchairs and loungers, the rational, almost ascetic powder coated construction made of stainless steel contrasts with the lavish cushions and oversized solid wood armrests, for putting down the glass of refreshment.

The tables and coffee tables feature wood and metal slate, durable materials that mature gracefully, and the accent discs on the legs are another characteristic feature, whose function is to ensure various modes of use on soft or sandy surfaces.

  • Kando

    Bover

The cordless luminaires of the Kando series -whose name refers to a Japanese term that captures the emotion and satisfaction experienced in the presence of something exceptionally valuable- emit a warm and welcoming light, filtered through the nautical cord of its shade. They allow the color temperature of the light to be adjusted with a manual push button that offers 2200 K, 2400 K and 2700 K options.

The lamp is supported by a lightweight teak wood structure, which doubles as a handle for easy transport. Available in three sizes, as well as indoor versions.
