The new Biosca Botey headquarters (previously situated on Av. Diagonal) is located on the ground floor of a Modernist building dating from 1900. Characteristic architectural elements like the wrought iron columns, the double height ceilings and the Catalan vault ceiling structure give it an industrial feel that contrasts and adapts to the interior design concept of the Piedra Papel Tijera studio. The entire perimeter is dedicated to exhibition with panels and a canopy organised in a U section configuration that display the entire variety of lamps. Some of the panels can be used to temporary exhibition purposes. In order to accommodate everything else the interior designers have created a modular central island that contains all the paraphernalia such as office equipment, plugs, catalogues etc. Which also includes a display system within and on top of the island. The materials are kept to a minimum, fabric and oak wood. The modular concept is repeated with three different height boxes or shelving units that are covered in black felt used to display the table lamps.
