KERU
Sculpted vessels in acid colours
Spanish creative studio ANTOÑITO Y MANOLIN launches KERU, a collection of unique pieces made of solid resin. Each one of these totems is designed and hand made using a traditional mould technique that has been rediscovered, only eight of each design will be made. Inspired by ancestral cultures and using a palette of acid tones that are universal in their expression.
KERU es una colección concebida como un talisman. Una pieza funcional y a la vez evocadora, con una fuerte carga emocional. Entre el poder chamánico y la realidad objetual, entre el uso y el arte.

Minimalist, geometric and iterative patterns where experimentation, material, shape and textures create a deeply evocative iconography of retro-futuristic aesthetics. Pieces belonging to imaginary civilizations, the result of a deep analysis and of combining history with the magical and surreal universe of the study.

Antoñito y Manolín is the Spanish creative studio founded by Trini Salamanca and Pablo Párraga, based in the southern city of Seville. Increasingly grabbing international attention, their work has a strong symbolic and mystic feature, and runs along the diffuse boundaries between art and design.
