IDdesign is the latest design showroom to open in Barcelona. Furniture, decorative objects, soft furnishings and a comprehensive interior design service inspired by Scandinavian design, at prices that are very affordable. Located at the intersection of Balmes and Travessera de Gràcia at Balmes 207, this is the first IDdesign to be opened in Southern European. With a clear mission to “advise and guide the client to get the house of their dreams,” Roberto Cavalcante who is the owner of the Barcelona shop and an interior designer in his own right, recently moved with his family from Paris where he lived and worked in the design sector. The focus here is on both the quality of the products as well as satisfying individual customer needs, the consumer lifestyle franchise works with the best textiles, sofas, beds, wardrobes and mirrors in the industry.
IDdesign was originally founded over 40 years ago in Sabor, Denmark, nowadays it is an international company with shops located in the Middle East and Europe as well as its native Denmark where it continues to be the largest retailer. The IDdesign philosophy is to create innovative designs for the home at affordable prices. Influenced by Normann Copenhagen and contemporary trends in interior design as well as staying loyal to their Scandinavian roots and origins. In 2008 IDdesign was awarded a 'Superbrand' status for its achievements in the furniture sector. The majority of its products are manufactured in Europe with an emphasis on excellent quality, such as the hand-woven Danish rugs, the white pendant lamps made with real feathers, or the elegant marble and stone used to create the dining tables.

There are four collections in total on display at the showroom
There are four different collections on display at the new Barcelona showroom: the Living design, consisting of superior quality materials that lend the collection its modern aesthetic; the Sleeping selection, with an emphasis on calm and relaxation expressed in warm and neutral tones; the Dining collection, which focuses on the unique spirituality of the kitchen, and a fourth collection, the Accessories, that provides personality to the home with products that accentuate and give the space an individual charisma.
