Hasta Los Cojines
“Hasta los Cojines” (play on words using the word cushions) is a limited series of designer cushions where profits go to support Design Series charitable events, and is also a new line from La Mallorquina. With this initiative the prestigious Catalan home textiles brand forges stronger connections with the city by supporting the local Made in Barcelona talent.
“Hasta los cojines” is the first #designseriesbcn collection; curated by the Barcelona design studio ESIETE, there are 10 well known illustrators included within the project: Conrad Roset, Joana Santamans, Chamo San, Miguel Bustos, Javier Royo, Lapin, Olga Capdevila, Júlia Solans, Sergio Mora and Antoni Socías.

Each illustrator has created a unique cushion design; with a limited edition of 100 cushions produced for each of the artist’s creations. 25% of the profits will go to La Casa dels Xuklis, a foundation that provides a place where children with cancer or long-term illnesses and their families can feel welcome and at home, when travelling from their hometowns for treatment. Coinciding with this first edition La Mallorquia has produced a special cushion of La Casa dels Xuklis that will cost 9.95 Eur. with the entire proceeds going towards this deserving cause. The collection will be presented this June 28 between 6:30 p.m. 9.30 p.m. in Galería Cromo and can be purchased at any of their official shops or online at La Mallorquina at a price of € 17.95 Eur. from today onwards.
