The idea behind the new cookery courses organised by the Gaggenau showroom in Barcelona is to offer practical and easy to understand advice to both Gaggenau customers and anyone else interested in learning more about the art of cooking. Whether it be the range of cookers, hot plates, induction plates or the new fridges and extractors the equipment here is first rate and inspirational designed to facilitate ambitious amateurs a professional standard at home.
The courses consist of flexible modules or stand alone one-off sessions to learn about the optimum techniques to prepare meat, fish and vegetarian dishes as well as dessert dishes. All however with a focus on healthy and market fresh ingredients. The courses can be organised for individuals, groups of two or more as well as corporate events. Morning or evening the idea is to offer clients and the curious a flexible approach to good cooking practice. At the end of the course surrounds participants get to consume their work within the comfortable showroom. Participating chefs include Javier Llanos who is also the owner of Plats restaurant located in Cornella.

The showroom located in the Sarria/Sant Gervasi neighbourhood has been recently fitted out with Gaggenau’s latest high tech appliances including the two door fridge-freezer Vario RY 492, wine cooler RW 414 and extractor fan AL Serie 400 all of which can be appreciated in its full glory during the cooking courses. A previous appointment is required in order to visit the showroom and learn all about the latest kitchen appliances.
