Pilar Garrigosa & the Scuola di Padova
“Jewels that illustrate jewelry. Pilar Garrigosa and the Scuola di Padova” is a unique exhibition of contemporary jewellery pieces from the late 20th and early 21st Centuries that brings together for the first time creations by the multifaceted Catalan jeweller and collector Pilar Garrigosa and part of her exceptional collection of Italian artists.
The exhibition brings together for the first time pieces created between the years 1990 and 2019 by the jeweler, gallery owner and collector Pilar Garrigosa herself, as well as an unpublished selection from her exceptional collection of contemporary jewelry - one of the most complete nationwide - by Italian artists. from the 60s, 80s, 90s, 2000s and 2010s such as Giampaolo Babeto, Maria Rosa Franzin, Graziano Visintin or Annamaria Zanella, all references of the Italian art school Instituto Pietro Selvatico di Pádova, a great European precursor of this artistic discipline.
