Dedon, new collections
Bringing inside comfort outside
With the arrival of spring the outdoors becomes an extension of the indoors, whether it’s a city balcony, terrace, full blown garden in the country or any other private outdoor space. To fully exploit all its potential a few basic items of furniture are required which depending on how much space you have and the budget available can be anything from a lounger, a chair and a table to a full blown sofa system and lighting. Making an outdoor room for dining, relaxing, being with friends or simply contemplating the views is without doubt the best thing about being outside.
The outdoor furniture manufacturer Dedon is renowned for its well designed, innovative and high quality collections that are created by some of the most celebrated international contemporary designers including Jean-Marie Massaud, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby. Originally launched in 1990 by ex footballer Boby Dekeyser the Dedon company is renowned for its outdoor collections with their indoor sensibility. The new collections were recently presented in Barcelona.

TIBBO is the first DEDON collection to be made entirely from teak, designed by Barber & Osgerby, which has now been added to with a 3-seater sofa and a lounger. All the pieces are manufactured by hand in Premium teak from slow growing sustainable plantations.

BRIXX was originally designed by Lorenza Bozzoli. For the 2018 season four new models (all with fixed backs) have now been added to the range of the original collection of three backless sofa modules. The first fully upholstered DEDON collection is now more versatile and functional than ever.

Mbrace
MBRACE (also designed by Sebastian Herkner) combines the typical DEDON fibre seats with a solid teak base. It now includes a dining table, made of solid teak wood and available in two sizes. As well as a divan that completes the collection.
