A new concept in Luxury Apartments
This recently opened project completed earlier this year in May, offers visitors to Barcelona a total immersion experience of the city, luxurious suites that can be rented by the day, week or even up to 30 days at a time. The central location on the corner of Via Augusta and Diagonal with 24 hour reception and a concierge service guarantees a unique experience given its proximity to some of the most emblematic restaurants, shops and sights that the city has to offer.
One of the most spectacular things about the Casagrand project however are the spaces themselves, the building was entirely refurbished from top to bottom. There are 13 suites, 12 of which include between 220 and 226 sq.m. with a mix of 3 and 4 bedrooms, 3 or 4 bathrooms (some of which are ensuite) with generous dressing areas and separate office space. Many of the original features of the building originally constructed in the 1929, and designed by famous Catalan architect Enric Sagnier i Villavecchia, have been preserved but the suites are equipped to 21st Century standards of comfort throughout with cutting edge kitchens, WiFi and other high-tech electronics.

There is a shared a roof terrace with a solarium, plunge pool and sauna accommodated within the neo-classical cúpula on the external corner of the building with its golden mosaic finish. The one bedroom penthouse suite is slightly smaller with 60 sq.m. (with a sofa-bed in the living area) but has its own private terrace. The interior design project was carried out by Borros Interiorisme Internally period details are combined with engineered laminate floors, exposed brick in the entrance halls and plaster cornices. Each of the apartments is furnished with furniture, lighting elements and original art works and decorative objects that reflect Barcelona and Catalan design at its very best, Vibia, Marset etc..

Casagrand Luxury Suites combines the concept of independent apartments with the services of a luxury hotel: extra large beds, handmade mattresses, 400 count thread cotton sheets, extra comfort pillows and towels that as well as designer Spanish and Italian furniture, smart TV in each bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen including a Nespresso machine, and free high-speed wi-fi speed.

Another of the unique aspects of this project is its collaboration with some of the most emblematic businesses and restaurants of Barcelona. Companies such as Andres Sarda (lingerie), offering a private sale service, or Objeto de Deseo who will provide visitors with a consultant service, the Hoffman restaurant that can be hired to cater for a private event within Casagrand.
