The bed is the main protagonist at Be Kume a new design shop located in the Sant Gervasi – Galvany neighbourhood of Barcelona, the shop named after its owner Uia Kume, was inspired by something that is critical to our wellbeing, a good night’s sleep, in what is probably the most important room in any home, the bedroom. Be Kume includes all varieties of bed clothes; bed sheets, eiderdown covers, pillow cases, cushion, plaids and towells as well as its own collection of leisure wear, designed by Uia Kume. The shop also features accessories and other bedroom inspired decorative objects and art works. Be Kume has in fact patented a system for making the bed that avoids the typical eiderdown cover. and reversible covers that feature two shades and nordic covers that provide versatility to the aesthetics of each room.
