Chef El Mazari Youssef who trained in France, Spain and Morocco combines flavours and textures with dishes like the Veel cheek ‘Tagine’ with sultana raisin and ratte potato parmentier, with Port wine reduction, or the Duck foie grs Mi-Cuit with pomegranate and Mejoul date aspic and spice bread. HIGHLIGHT: Unlike anything else in Barcelona, located at the heart of the Eixample neighbourhood the food, service and ambience will have you coming back here. INTERIOR: Like a luxurious apartment with bookshelves, cocktail bar, soft lighting and golden hues, the space designed by Carlos Martinez is a mixture of exotic and cosy, new and traditional. RECOMMENDED: The tasting menu is a great way to explore the subtle flavours and sophisticated culinary fusion of French and Moroccan cuisine. The reasonable mid-day set menu and the selection of moroccan wines including Ithaque and Terres Sauvage. And the cocktails especially the Green Tea with honey and cinammon.
