Location: Only a 10-minute walk from Plaça Catalunya, Yök is very centrally located and across from Barcelona's old town. The Picasso Museum is nearby, as well as restaurants and bars. Yök's location is not in the touristy part of Barcelona, but it has more locals.
Design: Opened by Petz Scholtus and María José Rodriguez Marañis, the restored apartments still have much of their original features, such as all of the original walls and original mosaic floors from 1900. The atmosphere can be described as light and fresh, and the apartments are furnished with modern furniture from Barcelona designers and companies. Sustainability also plays a large role, for example Yök has a system that measures the water consumption of the guests.
Points of Interest: Each apartment has it's own kitchen and living room for guests to use, and catering is also an option. Rooms also come with a terrace or balcony, minibar and wifi is offered.
