Tragaluz

Traditional gastronomic restaurant

OFFERING: Traditional Mediterranean cuisine inspired by seasonal produce sourced locally. Its classic recipes prepared using the most up-to-date techniques that bring out the best of the raw materials. HIGHLIGHT: The extraordinary kitchen, which diners have to pass through in order to get to the lounge and enjoy their food under the stars. Tragaluz hasn’t changed much in the 25 years since opening but nevertheless remains young and current. Its name (roof light in Spanish) is even more descriptive nowadays that more sky is on display. INTERIOR: The building, located on the Pasaje de la Concepción adjacent to Paseo de Gracia, occupies three floors, Tragluz is spread over the top two floors. The stairs up are lined with Mariscal sketches for the redesign of the Tragaluz logo. The first floor dining area is covered by a spectacular glazed roof. On the very top floor the approach is more casual with fireplaces and sofas, perfect for private dinners. RECOMMENDED: A must-visit in Barcelona, Tragaluz is one of the city’s most renowned restaurants. PRICE: A-la-Carte: 47 Eur.
