OFFERING: traditional Catalan gastronomic tapas and shared portions based on Market fresh cuisine with a contemporary flourish. Located on the same street at the Picasso Museum locals and visitors alike can discover this young and talented chef. HIGHLIGHT: Daniel Rueda is the owner and chef, all dishes are made to order in a kitchen area located right in front of the dining area. The raw material here is unbeatable, given that it’s all chosen by Rueda. In terms of value-for-money / price Tapeo is unbeatable in the Born area. INTERIOR: inspired by the traditional granjas and diners the layout here consists of one long counter with customers on one side and the chefs on the other. There is also a recently opened intimate space for groups located at the very back. RECOMMENDED: the Buffalo Burrata with Tomatoes, Sprouts Salad with Parmesan and Fruit, Grilled Leek Confit with Tapenade. Fresh Mackerel Marinade and Oxtail with Sant Pau mongetes Mushrooms.
