Mediterranean cuisine, dishes & small portions

INTERIOR: A building originally dating from the 14th Century, designer Pilar Líbano and her team have created an exclusive restaurant that combines past and present. There are three separate ambiences in all. HIGHLIGHT: Carefully selected and varied wine menu. The chance to reserve a table in the actual kitchen where diners can benefit from the personalised attention of the restaurant’s chef. The terrace is open all year round in the Sarriá Square just in front. OFFERING: both dishes and small portions based on traditional recipes, adapted to the tastes of today. An approach that focuses on first class raw materials, respect for the product serving well known dishes with a modern twist. Midday lunch menu during the week for 14 Eur. RECOMMENDED: the burrata (cured veal) with ‘cor de bou’ tomato, the tartars, fresh fish and the grilled meat like the Nebraska or the organic steaks. Exclusive desserts like the ‘Recuit’, typical of the Baix Empordà region. PRICE: 25 Eur.
