OFFERING: At the Negro restaurant: World cuisine with flavours from Peru, Mexico, Italy and Asia, in a relaxed and modern space —greener than black actually— with an island bar and open-plan kitchen, and a terrace on the bustling Av. Diagonal. While the Rojo restaurant is more of a Japanese tavern with an interior garden, filled with plants and greenery, Sushi Bar, tempuras, Teppanyaki show cooking, steam cooking, street food, in a more relaxed and informal setting.
HIGHLIGHT: Two restaurants in one location with their own different personalities, Negro on the ground floor and Rojo downstairs. From Thursday to Sunday it all becomes a fun nightclub, open until 5AM.
RECOMMENDED: From the Negro menu: Shrimp bao in tempura; Shanghai style duck; Truffled rigatoni; Tortillas with sashimi tuna, avocado and chipotle mayonnaise; and Cochinita pibil tacos. From the Rojo menu: Black cod with miso; Teriyaki burger; Fried rice with kimchi and egg; Spicy salmon uramaki with mango and avocado, covered with flambé salmon; Crispy nigiri from steak tartar; and the tempuras.
AVERAGE PRICE: Negro: 35-40 Eur., Rojo: 20-30 Eur.
