Mariscal

Showroom

For more than four decades Javier Mariscal has created a unique work, which places him among the designers with the greatest international projection, and in 1989, the Mariscal Studio constituted a vehicle to develop numerous projects, inspired and guided by his inexhaustible curiosity and non-conformism, and is that the desire to explore the territories that fascinate him has no end. Illustration, comics, graphic design, interior design, architecture, furniture, animation, cinema… HIGHLIGHT: This multidisciplinarity is palpable in the Showroom. When the doors of the studio —where Cobi was born— are open, you can see how they work and all kinds of products: archival objects, original drawings, posters, ceramics... INTERIOR: Located within the Palo Alto complex, in Poblenou, in one of the first factories that have been remodeled and cared for since 1988. To this day it is still alive with creative studios surrounded by a garden, an oasis full of birds and happy plants that fill with life a place that claims good living and community. RECOMMENDED: The new graphic novel ‘They Shot the Pianist’ (Salamandra), a project co-directed with Fernando Trueba.
