OFFERING: Classics of Mexican cuisine, cocktails and sounds (on vinyl) within a warm loft like space, lively and fun.
HIGHLIGHT: Alex Mendez, the chef originally from the Yucatan, is the author of a simple menu which presents the legendary flavours of Mexican culture and traditional techniques such as the tortilla making machine. The cocktail menu, created by the Colombian mixologist Luis Fernando, includes classic cocktails made from more than 30 varieties of mezcal and original tequilas from Mexico, as well as the Mexican version of mulas, margaritas, bitters and “natural fresh water” (alcohol-free). Weekends, pre-parties and DJ sessions.
INTERIOR: An industrial space decorated with authentic original Nordic furniture and warm materials like wood. Feels like being in someone’s home, at dinner or partying with friends in a living room.
RECOMMENDED: The Fried Octopus with xnipec (tomato, purple onion, coriander and lemon) and avocado puree and Braised Pork rib in adobo of dried chiles with esquites. And its signature drink, the ‘Hijo De Mendez’ margarita, with cinnamon, pepper, mezcal and maple syrup.
