• Location: located right in the centre of Barcelona in close proximity to Avenida Diagonal and Paseo de Gracia in the midst of the city’s best shopping areas. Situated on the semi-pedestrian street Enrique Granados, one of the most pleasant thoroughfares of the city where the numerous terraces, cafes and tapas restaurants can be sampled at leisure.
• Design: Accommodated within a former hospital building from the 20th C, Granados 83 was subsequently refurbished into a hotel in the Art Nouveau / Decó style. Its cast metal structure recalls the loft buildings of Manhattan’s Soho district and contrasts with the neo classical stone and glass facade, the interiors are elegant and sparse. Organised around a central courtyard with a spectacular glass roof the public areas are bright and sophisticated featuring exposed brick, Zebrano and Tamarind timber, natural leather and white Thasos marble.
