Izakaya Bar for Japanese tapas

OFFERING: Out-of-the-way izakaya bar that serves tapas, with a playful and lively atmosphere and good music selection, open from afternoon to late evening. The menu is street-inspired Japanese cuisine, where the Mediterranean product is the protagonist. Rossana Esquer is in charge of everything in the kitchen and some of the highlights among her dishes are the Wok-fried Rock-mussels, Katsu Sando (Japanese sandwich); from the Robata, Suriyaki Iberian pork ribs; from the sushi-bar the Moriawase Bluefin tuna (Balfegó) sashimi; and Grilled skewers such as the Monkfish tail, Pork trotter or Chicken Yakitori. To accompany the food, signature cocktails created to pair with the menu and the atmosphere, and a selection of natural wines by Juan Bartolomé, the restaurant director. HIGHLIGHT: It’s one of the best kept gastronomic secrets in the city. The kitchen is completely open to the dining area from where you can see all the cooking action. INTERIOR: In collaboration with Lekuonastudio, a cozy and comfortable place with a separate sushi area and a central space in front of the robata.
