OFFERING: Contraban is accommodated within Wittmore Hotel, a space with the ambience of a modern speak-easy and the soul of a 21st Century salon, a philosophy that perfectly reflects the unusual and inspirational gastronomic offering created by Chef Alain Guiard.
HIGHLIGHT: The menu is inspired by the emotions that come about during the creative process, with dishes ranging from the absence of the creative muse to frustration and artistic excitement.
INTERIOR: Designed by Septiembre Arquitectura in an avant-garde style that still manages to be warm and inviting.
RECOMMENDED: Let yourself be carried away by the flavours and textures of sensations such as “freedom”, snacks that can be eaten at any time like the Michelangelo Tart/brioche with spicy tomato, ricotta, fennel and pepperoni; “creative excitement”, featuring unusual very visual carpaccios that recreate a painterly canvas; or “frustration”, with recipes that involve the intervention of the waiter in order to break free represented in non-edible obstacles including the Beetroot cooked in a clay crust, served with cream cheese and truffle sauce.
