Location: Casa Bonay is located in Eixample near many points of interest in walking distance. The hotel's placement is very central, and the Gothic Quarter and Plaça Catalunya are only a 10-minute walk away.
Design: Francisco Batlle first built Casa Bonay in 1869. Originally a home for the Bonay family, the building was designed with a neoclassical façade and contained many architectural elements linked to masonry. Today, all original elements have been conserved, including the hydraulic tiled floors, the ceilings and sliding doors.
Points of Interest: There are two restaurants in Casa Bonay, Libertine and Elephant, Crocodile, Monkey. Libertine is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and also has a cocktail bar. Elephant, Crocodile, Monkey is a lively restaurant with food from chef Estanislao Corenzo open for lunch and dinner. Casa Bonay is also home to Mother, a cold-pressed juicery, and Satan's Coffee Corner.
