Bosco de Lobos Barcelona

Dining in a forest

OFFERING: Traditional Italian cuisine and the concept of eating in a forest, but without leaving the city. Simple and well-prepared dishes, the menu includes spuntini e antipasti, substantial salads, pasta dishes, Roman style pizzas, extra thin crusted and crunchy, as well as desserts. HIGHLIGHT: Grupo Tragaluz, under the direction of Tomás Tarruella (co-founder of the group) together with Alex Duran and his team came up the idea for this restaurant which after opening in Madrid is now open in up-town Barcelona. Bosco de Lobos is like a city break where dining in a forest just off Av. Diagonal is possible. INTERIOR: By Francesc Rifé Studio, minimalist and contemporary. The restaurant is divided into: interior, covered porch, terrace and outdoor park. With an open-plan kitchen as centre stage, the panoramic windows give the spotlight to the 600 sq.m of a green forest created by landscaper designers Pepote Comella and Mauricio Ramírez. RECOMMENDED: Sirloin vitello tonnato; Radicchio of Treviso with gorgonzola, pear and hazelnuts; and Classic spaghetti alla carbonara. PRICE: 35-40 Eur.
