OFFERING: An original and top quality journey of culinary fusion paired with excellent classic cocktails. An informal food offering with plenty of surprises with many delicious dishes for sharing, with a focus on raw food, including tastes from southern Europe, Southeast Asia and South America.
HIGHLIGHT: The name Babula is the term of endearment its owner Leo Chechelnitskiy affectionately calls his grandmother. Here clients will be treated with the same warm and helpful service that Leo learned from her, and with a table full of good food, of course! The gastronomy and service make Babula Bar an essential place in Barcelona, which has just celebrated its 5th Anniversary.
INTERIOR: A busy, cheerful space, with a hedonistic spirit and a warm atmosphere that invites us to feel like we are at grandma’s house.
RECOMMENDED: Dishes such as the Prawn tartar bite, the Roasted octopus leg with Iberian bacon, the Babula-style Steak Tartare —one of their star dishes— or the Meloso de ternera (beef) with seasonal vegetables and parmentier. On Fridays, live music and DJs.
